Bizarre behaviour from Britney

Britney Spears performance on The X Factor was surrounded by bizarre behaviour from the troubled star, according to a newspaper report.

The Sun claims that Britney snubbed the show's contestants by rehearsing in private and not even watching them perform her songs.

And the paper also claims show supremo Simon Cowell, one of the most powerful men in the global music industry, was prevented from meeting the star in her dressing room by her minders.

The other judges, Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue, are said to have been forced to wait in a corridor to pose for a snap with the star.

She had earlier refused to use a Winnebago supplied at the studio and had been given Cowell's green room as a dressing room instead.

The Sun quoted a show insider as saying: "You have never seen so many heavies. Even around the judges' dressing rooms was sealed off by Britney's security people. When the judges went to meet her, her security wouldn't let anyone past."

And when Simon Cowell finally met Britney he was stunned to hear she hadn't watched the five remaining acts perform.

The insider said: "Everyone was stunned she admitted that she hadn't watched the show. There's a TV in the dressing room.

"Simon tried to have a conversation, but Britney was pretty vacant. In the end he just walked off."

Many viewers believe that the Britney mimed her new single Womanizer on the Saturday night show - but she didn't sing at all when she went on for the obligatory appearance at London's G.A.Y. club.

Around 1,500 fans sang for her and gave her a cake for her birthday on Tuesday, but unlike most visiting pop icons she refused to take to the stage.

It was far too soon for her to make a come back. Let her rest and look after her family.

She has the rest of her life to get back into the pop world, but for now she needs to take care of herself and her boys.

Sorry I don't agree. She evaded the question when Dermot asked her what she thought of the show so far, she answered "I love London" What!! it was quite obvious then she hadn't watched from back stage, who does she think she is, Maria Carey, Celine Dion, Elton John, need I go on, all these great stars have taken time out of their busy schedule to mentor the acts, GET BACK TO THE USA AND STAY THERE BRITTNEY

It was to quick for britney to make a come back she needs to take care of herself and her family. She said on the brit devion that she hates the world and everyone in it so theres your answer, she doesn't appreciate her fans. So she has changed simply because of her breakdown and people will not like her for that. If you ask me she will have another breakdown because she doesn't have the confidence in the world and herself anymore!

Tell the little brat to take a walk. The people made her famous and she blew it. Good manners cost nothing even though I think Cowell is a pratt. She was guest and had no right to his green room. As for her minders, what the hel did she need them for. Isn't the studio security good enough for her then. A case of "Ooops She did it Again" I think.

The contestants on X Factor were way better than her half-hearted performance. Why did she bother? Oh yes,album and tour to publicise some kind of curiosity show. Go away to the camper van Broccoli....and don't come back

Britney is still a troubled woman no doubt, but I think the press should go easy on her. Doubt if she would ever be invited back to the X-factor.
