La Toya and Tommy evicted from Celebrity Big Brother

La Toya Jackson and Tommy Sheridan are the latest stars to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother.

Talking to Davina, La Toya said: "The house has been great. I hate being so shy and this experience has helped me a great deal."

Davina commented, "You're very sensitive aren't you?" to which La Toya replied: "Extremely. People say things that aren't true [especially about the Jackson family] when they don't know the family or the individuals.... sometimes it hurts."

Tommy looked shocked and disappointed but told Davina: "I was very pleased when you called out my name. I wanted out."

He told Davina: "My favourite in the house is Verne. I want him to win. He might be a little man but he's got a lot of courage."

The Celebrity Big Brother final will be shown Friday night.

CBB day two

Terry Christian found himself named the first celebrity head of house because he "displayed civilian qualities" by waiting until last to secure a bed.

Rapper Coolio has been the star of the show so far, sharing valuable pearls of wisdom with his fellow housemates - and declaring that he has the "heart, liver, kidneys and sexual functions of a 25-year-old".

Verne Troyer has been given his personal scooter and step, to help him get around the house. He's already told the others he "can do pretty much everything, apart from wash dishes". The scamp!

Asked by Big Brother why somebody might not like him, Coolio says he doesn't have any celeb friends because they're "all fake" while he's "keeping it real".

Coolio gives Verne Troyer a hand with his case, but leaves the little man to unpack his own clothes when he realises his help isn't required.

La Toya Jackson is stunned when Coolio reveals that he is the first person in his family to earn more than $100,000. Even before the pound slipped that was a fair chunk of change!

Tommy Sheridan has admitted that he's entered the house for the money - because he's a full-time law student now and has bills to pay.

Ulrika can obviously give Tommy a run for his money in the funny face-pulling stakes.

Glamour girl Lucy Pinder declared she was a "Tory bird" in her introduction video. We look forward to her and Tommy getting into some political discussions.

Lucy and Tina seem to have struck up a friendship, they were going to the diary room together on the first night.

Although I appreciated what verne and La Toya were saying with regard to America and Britain and how America have assisted us in the past regarding supporting us through past wars, keyword 'new beginning' please move on...lets not go down the road of how many wars America has created and are still creating..most people are elated that Obama was elected..can we not just celebrate it as a united people?

America helping us in the Wars is a myth. They did'nt do it for us but for themselves! In the First World War Germany sank American ships and this forced them into the war, and that was in 1917, three years after the War had started. In the Second World War, Roosevelt was voted in as President because he had promised to keep America out of the War! They only came into the War because of Pearl Harbour and when Hitler declared War on them! This is not to denigrate the brave men who died in the two World wars but they were fighting for the US not for us.

Regarding LaToya's comments, she has on more than one ocassion referred to 'them' or 'they' meaning the the 'British' or Scottish' Housemate/s when addressing Coolio or Verne. In this day and age, I am really disappointed and a little surprised that someone would intentionally want to raise this as an issue and seem to want to cause a divide. We are all human beings and have overcome adversity in order to get to where we are today. We should be united. There is still a long way to go but I feel that such comments made by someone who is in the public spotlight right now isn't going to help.

The 'rubbish' that I'm referring to is the fact that LaToya kept talking about the 'British' as if they'd just fallen out of the sky and were a completely different race! Just because she's 'American' doesn't mean she's any different to a 'British' person. She just lives in another country that's all. She's going on like Americans are superior to British people and referred to the British housemates when talking to her fellow 'Americans' as 'them' or 'they' several times. She also made some potentially offensive comments regarding how America has helped Britain during previous wars...I hope that's helped? Do you have any opinions or can you only manage one liners?

Thank you for your support Jasmine. I'm sure 'Streetbike' didn't intentionally mean to upset me by writing what they did but I do appreciate that everyone has their own opinions and are entitled to air them. The point I was trying to make is exactly what you have said. There shouldn't be a 'them' and 'us' situation in anything that we do in this day and age. Unfortunately, it happens. But if we can try our hardest, especially in such a public arena and on such a petty divide that was insinuated (that could easily have been avoided), then we can continue to make some progress in making this world a better place for everyone.
