Coolio charged with crack possession

Rapper and Celeb Big Brother loudmouth Coolio is facing up to three years in jail after being charged with possession of crack cocaine.

The Gangsta's Paradise hip-hopper, whose real name is Artis Leon Ivey, was arrested last Friday at LA International Airport after a member of security allegedly found the drug and a crack pipe in his luggage as he arrived for an internal flight.

He is also charged with battery, because he allegedly grabbed an airport screener's arm to prevent the search of his luggage.

He faces a maximum sentence of three years in state prison if convicted and is scheduled to appear in court on April 3.

If he does go to the big house, Coolio won't be the first famous face to get a taste of porridge...

I dnt agree with drugs or anyones reasoning for doing them iv seen how they change people and how they destroy lives...bt in response to Coady's solution that would pritty much mean half if not more the celeb's wheather that be acting entertaining singing presenting sporting or modelin we see and read about every day who earn or get payed far to much money... and seem to get away with it.

Shooting him is taking it a bit too far! But he should get the jail had any 1 else tried to smuggle drugs on a plane they would go to jail so I hope he does!

Obviously something made him think he would get a way with smuggling it wat an idiot in an airport of all places

Sure he could have got a hold of some off someone else when he arrived wherever he ws going
