The world of showbiz has always been a safe haven for those of an alternative sexuality, and it's only more recently that the rest of the country has started to catch up - but sometimes it can be confusing when you think you've got a celeb pegged, and then find out that he's married with kids!

Since when did being married and having kids PROVE a man is not gay? This is just lazy journalism passing itself off as fact.

As a contrary example I cite the singer Tom Robinson who has a wife and 2 children. He is definately and proudly still 'Glad to be Gay'.

How does anyone know if a Man or Woman is gay simply by being married with children.
I used to watch a tv soap, and had a feeling this guy was gay simply by the way he moved.
No one else susppected but me, and days later it was in the newspaper that he was gay.
Being married with kids is not proof of sexuality.

Many men and women(ESPECIALLY in Showbiz!) use marriage or just dating a member of the opposite sex as a "cover",while secretly having covert relationships with their own sex,or call themselves 'bisexual'. Why do people pretend to be gay or straight? Ansa, 'cos it's fashionable to be gay at the moment.Also the real gays love the life style. it's a known fact they are highly promiscuous.Straights often try the alternative just to see what it's like, and end up doing it on the sly.Some gays pretend to hate the way they are, but they are just pretending to garner attention.All in all any one who has sex with someone of thier own gender is a wierdo of sorts, but should stick with thier own kind to avoid buggering up the human race mentally and physically.

to be quite honest i thought david walliams was totally gay but apparently hes been out with loads of women
but going out with women does necessarily mean anything, my dad was married to my mam for 15 years, hes got two kids me, 15 and my younger brother, 13. Now hes divorced my mam and has a boyfriend who he has been dating for 5 years now.

David Walliams is gay! He married a man not to long ago. He admitted he was gay on tv and comonly kisses men, he's a ragging homosexual and proud, he just likes to complicate things to confuse people, but if you look at the clues you'll probably find the truth. He's a bisexual.

at the end of the day noboday chooses to be gay, str8 or bisexual its just 1 of those things that happens. its not like they have a choice, its who they r. so who cares

and its a well known fact people who make fun of gay/bisexuals men or woman are actually gay or bisexual themselfs or atleast curious about it

I thought we were beyond this sort of sloppy journalism. Why is sexuality a matter of public concern? And why is the tone of this article "You thought he was gay, but it's OK he's really straight and he's got a wife and kids to prove it so you can relax.." Mind you, I don't really regard AOL as a source of quality journalism so perhaps I should relax. But it's like something from the 80s and I thought most sensible people were over this sort of prurient nonsense.

Ramit upmewhatsit (doncha just lurve the name?)has a problem, i.e. methinks he protesteth too much. Indeed, he's so fearful, he feels impelled to indulge in the classic homophobic response of becoming 'outraged of Tunbridge Wells.' Perhaps some psychiatric sessions would help?

As regards 'mince,' I thought always thought it was cheap meat! Wonder if the Kray twins 'minced.' Given Ramit's comment, I suppose they did. No wonder so many married men have that odd way of walking.

Being gay is not a sin or an illness, its simply an orientation that is set at birth, believe me who would choose to be called 'pervert' and 'fag' by inbred know-nothings?
This anti-gay sentiment however often occurs in people who wonder about the lifestyle but have been conditioned to think its wrong.

And lets face it, you can't get rid of us, gay people have and always will be a part of society, its better to accept us and move on with your lives, otherwise you just wasting your lives trying to prove to the world that your not gay.
