Debbie Rowe, ex-wife of Michael Jackson, has emerged from her Californian ranch and broken her silence for the first time since Jacko's death.Insisting that she is the biological mother of his two eldest children, Rowe made a late-night phone call to a local news reporter, according to the Daily Mail.
Ms Rowe is quoted as telling NBC TV reported Chuck Henry: "They are my flesh and blood. I'm going after my children."
Having signed away her rights as mother to the two children eight years ago, Rowe has apparently had a change of heart and the custody hearing, originally arranged for Monday, has been postponed until July 13 at the request of her lawyers.
Though recent reports have suggested that neither Rowe nor Jackson were the biological parents of Prince Michael and Paris, Ms Rowe reportedly says she is willing to take a DNA test to prove that she is their mother. She also said she would be open to the idea of raising the youngest child, known as Blanket.
Despite the call to Chuck Henry, Rowe's lawyer told reporters that no final decision has been made, saying: "I'm representing to you now, unequivocally, Debbie has not reached a final decision concerning the pending custody proceedings."
Former nurse, Debbie, who now lives on a ranch in Palmdale, California, gave full custody to Jackson in 1999.
In 2003, the eldest of their children, Prince Michael, told a US news channel covering the birth of Paris, "I haven't got a mother", with Jackson confirming that the children would not benefit from contact with Miss Rowe as "she can't handle it".
Jackson's mother was named as the children's guardian in Jacko's will, with Diana Ross to take over raising the children should something happen to Katherine.
