They're usually regarded as one of the most solid couples in all of celebland, but reports are circulating that Angelina Jolie has walked out on Brad Pitt following a furious row.

Grazia magazine has quoted a source as saying that the A-list couple had a massive barney after their twins Vivienne and Knox's first birthday party at their home in LA last weekend.

It is claimed that 34-year-old Jolie stormed out and booked herself into a room at a luxury Beverley Hills hotel, where she has been staying since.

The source was quoted as saying: "Minutes after the argument, she got up, threw together a bag of clothes and ran to her car. She checked straight into a suite at the Raffles L'Ermitage hotel.

"Angelina is refusing to take Brad's calls - the only way he knew she was OK was because the nannies had seen her. They have been saying she's always thrilled to see the kids, who have been visiting two at a time."

She and Pitt, 45, raise six children together - and are often envied for their seemingly idyllic life.

Let's hope that Brangelina don't end up joining these other couples on the scrapheap of failed celeb relationships...
