It was a night of role reversal in London yesterday as both Amy Winehouse and Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts went out on the town.

But while the usually booze-addled Amy went all shy leaving the Good Mixer in Camden, even pictured sucking her thumb. Bless.

On the other hand, the so often quiet and demure Nicola was making the most of her night at the birthday bash of another Camden nightspot, Gilgamesh.

The red-head went for the natural look in terms of make-up but may now be regretting her decision to wear a daringly low-cut tight-fitting dress.

Unfortunately it was not only her usually reserved façade but also her dress that slipped.

However, that didn't stop Nicola from having a good time. As the free champagne began to flow, the singer was blissfully unaware of the show she was putting on.

Of course, it may not only be the dress that Miss Roberts regrets. She finished the evening with a suitably drunken fall before making her legless way home.

Still, at least Nicola can rest easy in the knowledge that she wasn't the first and almost certainly won't be the last...
