Katie Price was reportedly branded a "sl*g" by a group of Peter Andre fans at the weekend.

The glamour model arrived dressed in a cowboy outfit for a themed night in Manchester when she met with a group of heckling women chanting "Team Andre" - referring to her estranged singer husband - and swearing at her.

But she showed a bit of self-restraint for once, according to the Daily Star, and rather than launch into a trademark tirade she instead advised them to watch her new reality TV show instead of Peter's.

She did, however, refuse to walk the last 50 metres to the Living Room club's entrance and returned to her three-car convoy, which took her to the nightclub doorway.

An onlooker told the paper: "Her face visibly fell. They were obviously Peter Andre fans and had made it very clear they had it in for her.

"They started shouting 'Team Andre', really trying to rile her - and it worked."

Katie snapped back: "Don't watch Peter Andre's show, watch, mine!"

The 31-year-old brunette is said to be furious after Peter's first solo reality show 'Going It Alone' pulled in over a million more viewers than her own show 'What Katie Did Next', which started in the UK last week.

As well her night out, Katie also met her cage fighter boyfriend Alex Reid's parents for the first time last weekend.

She was reportedly on her best behaviour for the visit, didn't wear make-up, deliberately didn't wear a revealing outfit and insisted on staying in a separate bedroom to Alex.

His parents were so impressed with Katie they have already invited her to spend Christmas with them.
