Susan Boyle album cover revealed

We don't want to spoil the surprise or anything, but if you are of a certain age then there's a very good chance you're going to be seeing this picture when you open your Christmas presents this year.

Yes, it's the cover of Susan Boyle's long-awaited debut album I Dreamed A Dream - and we think she's looking pretty good on the cover.

Even though the CD won't hit the shelves until November 23, it's already a huge success - with Americans pre-ordering tens of thousands of copies of it.

The 48-year-old Scottish spinster, dubbed the Hairy Angel, became a global sensation after video footage of her performing on Britain's Got Talent was seen around the world via YouTube.

She was the runner-up in the talent show's final, with dance act Diversity the shock winners.

The photo for the album cover was taken from a Harper's Bazaar photoshoot she did earlier this year.

Why is repeatedly referred to as a spinster in the media? Shes an excellent singer- why cant she just be allowed to receive the respect and dignity she deserves?

In this increasingly synical and celeb fixated world, although ordinary people make up the vast majority, often they are hidden.
When someone lke Susan comes into the picture, immediately, she does not fit the required visual scenario - she looks ordinary.
However, how extra ordinary did she become! The whole world, by and large took her to their hearts and millions found her an inspiration.
This so-called ugly duckling dared to be a beautiful Swan and she showed the world it is possible.
Let her lesson be learned the world over so that many 'ugly ducklings' can find they really are 'Beautiful Swans!'

There are no ' ordinary people ' in this world, everyone is special but that they knew it-but they've been conned to believe that they are not, she is not an ' ugly duckling ' as you put it, there are no ' beautiful swanns '. One does wonder what kind of world your living in? If you think the way you write- you need help! Pretentious moi! By the way this is not an 'increasingly cynical( with a c) world'-it always has been, and by ' visual scenario ' you must mean image? Keep taking the tablets!!

Susan's CD is also doing great in Canada, #4 right now. And every bit of news about her CD - the due date, the tracklist, now the cover, is reported in sites around the world in many countries because the interest in her is huge. And deservedly so!
