The producers of the new Michael Jackson movie This Is It are reportedly furious over suggestions that it feaures body doubles.

The movie, which premieres this week, has been hit by claims from some members of Jackson's family that look-a-likes were used for many of the scenes featuring the late singer.

However, a rep from Sony, who co-produced the movie, told TMZ that the rumours were 'pure garbage' and that no doubles are featured.

They added: "Audiences will begin to see the film tomorrow and every time they see The King Of Pop they will know that every frame is unquestionably Michael as he rehearses and prepares for the London concerts that were to have begun this past summer."

Earlier today, it emerged that thousands of the singer's fans are backing an online campaign to boycott the film.

They claim that the film covers up the reality of the star's final weeks and ignores his failing health.

With the film already one of the most talked-about of the year, we don't think these latest controversies will do anything to harm the box office. In fact, they are likely to make it an even bigger smash!
