Leona 'wouldn't be any good as X Factor judge'

Dannii and Cheryl can breathe a sigh of relief as it seems former winner Leona Lewis has no plans to put herself forward for The X Factor panel.

The singer told Contactmusic that she wouldn't be able to turn down any of the acts who audition for the talent show.

She said: "It would be fun. But I don't know if I'd be a good judge because I'd just say yes and let everyone through. I wouldn't be able to turn anyone away."

Leona, who won the 2006 series, is set to meet this year's contestants when she performs her new single on the show.

She added: "I can't wait to meet everyone, but I'm mostly looking forward to seeing the girls.

"They are aspiring towards the same things as me when I was on the show and are going through a similar experience."

We wonder if she'll still think so highly of them if she's jostling with them this time next year for the number one spot?

she should not be a judge NO NO NO !!! because Dannii and cheryl are perfect as girls in the xfactor judge leona lewis should not be it !!!

She wouldn't be any good agreed, but then neither is Cheryl Cole...she only won last year because of backstage politics (Laura White would have won had she not been boffing a producer...)

She is a singer not a judge, glad Leona said no, Cheryl Cole has not been in the business long enough to judge others anyway, it is good she went through the same thing as she knows how it feels but come on, she thinks she rules the roost now she is a judge. At least Leona is now greedy about what she could earn if she wanted to be a judge.

cherryl cole needs to start giving lloyd tidy song to suit him it seems she is trying to get him voted off so that jo can win. Every week jo has the perfect song and the others she had have songs that are impossible for them to sing well .That seems a bit odd dont you think as jo is from her home town and the others arnt ,its very bad and if lloyd gets voted off its down to her and the fact that she favours jo over the rest of the contestants .Its bad sportsmanship.
