JLS pack 'em in for Christmas lights performance

They might only have been the runners-up in last year's X Factor, but boy band JLS certainly don't seem to have suffered as a result.

The foursome drew a massive crowd and got a hysterical reaction when they appeared at Manchester's Trafford Centre to turn on the Christmas lights.

As well as flicking the switch on the shopping centre's illuminations, they also cranked out a couple of their songs for the eager crowd - which was largely comprised of excitable females.

As the last remaining group in this year's X Factor, we wonder whether John and Edward will get this gig next year?

As an average 16 old girl I had to go along, however I wasnt expecting over 2000 people to be there, It was very dramatic. People had been waiting since 6 o clock in the morning to be at the front yet they where gettin squashed throughout the show. I came late and only got to the side of the stage and stood on a chair to able to see. However all the acts that performed where amazing especially Chipmunk he spoke to the crowds and thanked them endlessly. Most of the people which attended where obviously there for JLS. They where really good aswell. Throughout the perfomance more and more people came and it became very warm a girl right infront of me had a fit. It all came back to me being a super fan for JLS doesnt meen anything after all. We dont know how all these celebrities are really when there not performing or doing interviews, so we practically fall in love with someone fake.
