When Mutya Buena started talking a while back about the old... sorry, original Sugababes reforming we could have sworn we saw a pig fly past.

But apparently, we couldn't have been more wrong. According to gossip site Holy Moly, the girls (and by girls, we mean Mutya, Siobhan and recently ousted Keisha) are back together and they're already having actual meetings.

The three girls are reportedly in a second meeting with a producer (thought to be either William Orbit or Stuart Price) as well as their label.

Confusingly the site also reports that each of the girls has also been offered a solo deal, which is surely just asking for more jealous girl-fights. There is no news yet as to the band's name.

Still, the current Sugababes must be kicking themselves they've taken so long to get their act together.

Since Keisha was ousted from her own band, they haven't managed to perform, Jade is reportedly still learning her lines and Amelle is only just returning from the German spa/rehab clinic she escaped to 20 days ago.

There is however, huge scope for a Sugababes I versus Sugababes II bitch-fest. And you know what they say... the original is always the best.

The reunion of the original Sugababes is just the latest in a line of big celebrity comebacks...
