If you were Victoria Beckham, what would you buy your hubby David for Christmas?

Well, not a cute puppy that's for sure. No, Mrs Beckham has gone all uber-fashionable and splashed out on two micro-pigs for Becks this year... and at £1,400 they're definitely not for dinner.

In fact micro-pigs are the latest celebrity must-have, which, of course, means Victoria simply must have some.

According to the Mirror, Posh took delivery of the nine-inch pigs this week and has already nicknamed them Elton and David after pals Elton John and David Furnish.

Becks though, who surely should have the final say since they're his tiny pigs, is said to be keen on Pinky and Perky (we take that back... 'must try harder' springs to mind).

A source told the paper: "What can you possibly buy the multi-millionaire, superstar footballer who has absolutely everything?"

A cute puppy maybe...?

No, says the source: "In the case of David Beckham, the answer is, obviously, a pair of cuddly designer piglets.

"Victoria fell in love with them and realised she'd found the perfect present."

The pampered porkers will no doubt be happy with their lot as they settle in at Beckhingham Palace.

The source added: "Micro pigs are incredibly clean and easy to house-train. They will be given the run of the place and could even end up watching TV on David and Victoria's laps."

Somehow, we seriously doubt that Victoria would have a pig on her lap... house trained or not.
