Katy Perry was true to her word at the MTV Europe Awards last night, appearing in a variety of sexy guises as she hosted the event for the second time.

In fact, all in all she managed an astonishing 12 costume changes, from a burlesque-style basque and suspenders to an enormous flouncy ball gown with (inexplicably) huge holes cut out.

As if we didn't already know how loved up she and Russell Brand are at the moment, Katy insisted on letting us all know again, by turning out in a basque, knickers and garter all in the colours of Russell's footie team of choice, West Ham.

And just to make sure we didn't miss the whole point of the West Ham outfit, she had Rusty embroidered across her bum.

But since she managed to get in a little joke about Lady Gaga's possible but unconfirmed 'extra features', we'll forgive her for bringing Brand into the whole affair.

Appearing on stage in a giant stiletto, Katy quipped: "They say if men have big shoes they have big... The confusing thing is I borrowed this from Lady Gaga!"
