The Cheeky Girls: Jedward have no talent!

'X Factor' twins John and Edward and their huge quiffs are taking over the world it seems. The 17-year-old boys - dubbed Jedward - are proving to be pretty popular in celeb circles too with the likes of Peter Andre, Britney Spears, JLS and Peaches Geldof all confessing their love for the Irish duo's cheesy pop performances. But not all corners of the showbiz world are quite so enamoured, step forward the Cheeky Girls!

Monica and Gabriela slammed the twins and told me (wait for it...), 'Jedward have no talent!' Ouch! The 27-year-old Romanian twins are completely gobsmacked the boys are in the final and begged 'X Factor' fans not to vote for them.

Gabriela told me: 'They can't sing at all! Those boys are out of tune and they can't dance either. We've been singing since we were 4-years-old and we've got fourteen years of stage school training, they've just come from nowhere!'

'We have that special something, we have the X Factor, they're just a novelty act that people will forget about soon, they're not like us!'

What do you think? Are John and Edward better than The Cheeky Girls?

The show is now a joke and it's pretty sick to allow these two muppets airtime.
No talent whatsoever and being kept in by cheating the public which I thought was illegal.
Stopped watching three weeks ago wonder how many others have done the same.
The independent polls all agree, thay should have been kicked out weeks ago which suggests the show controllers are cheating the public and the genuine people who've actually got some talent.

twins cannot sing at all ,it is true and basic i gues they can do something but not singing .this is a talent show and we dont want 2 feel for peeps and turn down talented people .i agree with simon so is the world no doubt about it

The twins are lovely boys with great entertainability! Talent is a matter of personal preference. Whether or not people think John and Edward can sing or dance, they gotta admit the twins are sweet with a lovely presence. People are voting for them just the same, so they must have something likeable!!

Sorry Giselle, talent is not a matter of " Personal preference" it either exists or does not - leaving aside whether one likes a singer or not - THAT IS "Preference" I'me afraid these two are off their notes a lot and just, as so many "Singers" these days, rely on their looks rather than real talent to which there is NO substitute.

I like the twins but I have to disagree about talent being a personal preference. Talent for something is either there or it isn't. It can be improved by hard work and dedication but if that certain something isn't there already then it can't be bought or taught.

I don't think the twins talent lies in singing myself but I do think they could be good TV entertainers, maybe in an Ant and Dec style format and do very well for themselves.

But the Cheeky Girls commenting on someone elses singing abilities? Wrong wrong wrong, they really shouldn't be pointing fingers when they aren't exactly the greatest singers in the world themselves. Made me laugh though.

Here, here, the Twins are great fun and very original. I think they can sing in tune, but just haven't quite learnt to concentrate on keeping up their pitch whilst moving about the stage. ...By the way, every member of the junior choir I teach started out "hating" the Twins but over the course of the last few weeks almost every one of them has changed their mind and wants them to win (especially following the "vampire" rockers act last week!). At the end of the day, the Twins can smile and there proud mum loves them. than

I have never heard such utter rubbish these boys are not sweet, they are sickly and they are AWFUL and should be kicked off the Xfactor, I have stopped watching it just because they are still in it, what a farce!!!!!!!!!

I agree that the Twins would make another Ant & Dec. I am not saying they are great singers and I do realize that the X-Factor is a SINGING competition and NOT a 'Dancing/Personality/Beauty Contest' And on that note, maybe that's why Cheryl Cole is number one in the UK Music Charts! Anyhow, the public seem to like John and Edward, and it is, after-all, a competition judged on public votes. Personally, i would like to see either Jamie, Danyl or Joe winning this competition for their outstanding vocals. But the winner will of course be the one who proves the most popular with the public for whatever reason that may be.

There is nothing to choose between either of them, so they can hardly talk.
It makes me very angry to see John and Edward still there when they should never have gone through, but what more can you expect from Louis?

The Cheeky Girls slating an infamous twin act?
Could it be that John and Ed being compared with to the boney no brainers who rose to 'stardom' from Popstars the rivals? Has upset them?
Cheeky girls only got a contract bacause they made Pete Waterman drool. And perhaps entertained him?

Talk about pan calling kettle! The only thing they were famous for is shaking their backsides, definitely wasn't for talent and as for the twins, at least they are entertaining.
