Pete's devotion sparks Jordan apology

After months of public slanging matches, it seems the mystery illness of disabled Harvey has finally put Peter Andre and Katie Price back on amicable terms.

Seven-year-old Harvey was rushed to hospital on Wednesday with suspected swine flu but has since been discharged and is on the road to recovery.

Speaking on GMTV yesterday, Pete insisted that any differences were put aside at the hospital, saying: "For your children, you stay amicable, that's the way you do things. And there's no problem when it comes to your children – that's number one."

Their vigil at Harvey's bedside was the first time the pair have met since an awkward moment months ago when Jordan dropped the kids off with Pete.

But pals say Katie was touched by Pete's devotion to his stepson.

A source told Metro: "She realises how amazing Pete was at Harvey's bedside and apologised to him at the hospital for all the nasty things she has said about him.

"She told Pete, 'I've been selfish, I'm sorry".

Could this be the end of the magazine column bitching? We shall have to wait and see.

Jordan will not get Pete back she might try,he was there for Harvey as he loves that lad and yes is is good they are talking about the kids.

Just wait when Pete find a new girlfreind she will start again.

I think it is such a shame the paps and mags should back off and let them sort things out...i dont think jordon is half as bad as she has been made outt to be and they make a good couple BACK OFF AND LET THEM BE.

I think Pete is still very much in love with Katie you can see it in face and eyes and of course he loves his children very much as well.
I also think Katie still loves Pete and I think we all make mistakes and it is very easy to throw stones, we all say and do things we regret as well. Nobody is perfect. Maybe Katie realises now what she had and lost through her selfishness.
I think being nasty to Kate should stop now as it just makes us as bad as she has been.

I really hope they get back together because they were a lovely couple that have just hit a bad patch, don't we all! and wouldn't it be lovely for the children. Maybe I am dreaming but dreams do sometimes come true!!!!!! Lovely Xmas present, I would love to see them all happy again!!! Hate is a bad thing! forgiveness costs nothing. Kate has said she is sorry so I think she deserves another chance.

Personally I'd like to see them back together. I am not a fan of either but they seem to have had a genuine love for each other. It was some what intense hence all the problems but I think they're meant for each other hence the pain they're causing each other now. It'd be nice if somehow they could work it out.

Oh yes she is, but her lies were the best. The only reason Pete loves her as she is the mother of his kids thats all, he will never take that thing back, all those men and before the divorce.

Pete has his own life now, he does not control anyone Jordan tries just like what she did with Alex and her mother had to carry on that lie about Pete I think Jordans mother should say sorry to Pete, well lets hope Jordan is gone.
