Peter Andre is reported to have accepted a hefty payment in settlement over an article in Now magazine about the end of his marriage to Katie Price. He had sued IPC Media for £300,000 over the story, called "Jordan Explodes: 'Tell the Truth Peter!" - which the publisher now admits was wrong.
Pete's solicitor, Gordon Williams, told how Now had insinuated that his client may have been to blame for two accidents suffered by Harvey, Katie's disabled son by footballer Dwight Yorke.
And Mr Williams told the court: "Separately, Mr Andre was also said to have demanded sick sexual threesomes from his wife, which horrified her and which she did not enjoy, feeling used and like a sex doll.
"As a result, Mr Andre was said to be lying in portraying himself as a loving father and husband."
Pete was present for the hearing at the Royal Courts of Justice, which was held before Mr Justice Eady.
The 36-year-old has not revealed the size of the damages payout, but said: "I take my responsibilities very seriously. I would never do anything to hurt my children, whom I love very much."
He and Katie have two children together, four-year-old Junior and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii.
