Our favourite X Factor rejects have provided a timely response to miserable old man of pop Sting's claims that the show is just karaoke - by, erm, promoting a karaoke game. The trio, who left the contest a few weeks ago, were hired to help promote We Sing for the Nintendo Wii at the GAME store on London's Oxford Street yesterday.
Sting last week hit the headlines when he lashed out at The X Factor as "televised karaoke".
He also said: "I am sorry but none of those kids is going to go anywhere - and I say that sadly. They are humiliated when they get sent off."
X Factor supremo Simon Cowell used Saturday's show to hit back, issuing a tongue-in-cheek challenge to Sting to come on the show and "impart his knowledge".
So it's unfortunate that Miss Frank have picked the next week to be photographed playing a karaoke game - but we're still damn sure we'd rather listen to their album than Sting's latest tantric snoozefest.

Secondly, the show is not a competition but is pure entertainment. The participants are routinely humiliated and apparently people find this entertaining. They can't be watching to see good singing because none of them can hold a tune.

X'factor) has had some good singers come out of it such as Leona lewis, alexandra burke, JLS and of course jamie archer, lucie jones, Miss Frank - whom the last 3 have been voted off the show...... unfortunately, this year, rather than look for the good singers, it seems to be about the complete opposite- yes Jedward, Lloyd..... I'm not surprised that this show is getting negative feedback. The fact that the FiX factor is supposed to be a "singing" competition, the fact that people who cannot sing are getting far is making a mockery of the people who can sing. People tend to focus on the here and now when it comes to the FiX factor, and not it seems on past events, therefore if they are to maintain this "we have good singers and entertainers on this show", then they have to get good singers on the show. Its not as if they didnt have any better acts to choose from this year.

However, I am able to hear that they are not better than average karaoke singers themselves. My contention is that the show is watched for the drama and not the quality of the singing.
Oh, I caught some of the voting show last week and think that Dannii M's frocks are worth a view.
