Mariah Carey arriving at her album launchAahh... Mariah Carey, the diva of all divas. Fresh from her kitten-free Christmas Light switch-on, the Mariah Show well and truly hit town yesterday and a guestlist crammed with celebs was there to witness it.

Pixie Lott, Rupert Everett, Alan Carr and James Corden, Kelly Brook and Geri Halliwell all headed down to the elite London night spot, Jalouse, to help Mariah celebrate the launch of her album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel (actually we're quite surprised she included the Imperfect bit).

The UK's entire stock of Mariah's £850-a-throw bubbly, Angel, was on hand to keep the celebs amused.

But as all true divas should, Mariah made them wait... for three hours in fact. Apparently after all the stress of turning on the lights at the Westfield shopping centre, Ms Carey insisted on getting her rest back at the Dorchester.

Eventually though Mariah, arrived in a customised £300,000 Rolls Royce Phanton with her own face emblazoned across the sides, at 1am.

Her hit record Fantasy played as she strode into the VIP area and, according to the Daily Star, announced: "I am a diva! So friggin' what? Who cares?"

But by the time her gigantic entourage (reportedly including a personal candle lighter) had managed to squeeze through the door, Mariah was headed straight for the toilet.

Not just any old toilet though, folks. No, this VIP ladies' room included a personal masseuse and hair stylist.

After 40 minutes of people no doubt lavishing continuous compliments on her, Mariah made it back to her own party but insisted only a few of the invited celebs could join her in the VIP area.

Sadly by 2.30am, Carey left declaring that she was "unwell".
