Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley at the Bafta AwardsTV presenter Christine Bleakley might be loved up and glowing after falling for footballer Frank Lampard, but it has reportedly put the nose of Adrian Chiles firmly out of joint.

Bleakley and Chiles have enjoyed a kind of giggly on-screen co-presenter chemistry on The One Show for some years now, but last week both were absent from the sofa.

According to the Daily Mail, BBC execs are concerned that things aren't going so well now that Lamps is on the scene.

A member of the production team told the paper: "They've been sniping at each other off-air.

"Adrian seemed very angry with Christine. She's usually so chatty and vivacious but has been very subdued. She's embarrassed and doesn't know what to do.

"They were once inseparable. They would go off with each other during rehearsal, at breaks and afterwards for dinner. Sometimes they even arrived at work together.

"But that's all changed. In the past few weeks they've stayed apart as much as possible."

While Christine initially attempted to keep her blossoming romance with Lampard on the down low (apparently they're first date was at a Harvester... classy, Frank), it has recently become public knowledge.

But prior to the new relationship, rumours were rife that Chiles and Bleakley were something more than sofa buddies and now Adrian is feeling decidedly left out.

The source added: "He feels cut out. He's been so supportive and protective of her since she arrived from Northern Ireland in August 2007. But now he doesn't feel like he's part of her life any more."

Never mind Adrian... rumour has it that Frank prefers the stay-at-home type so Christine might soon be doing just that.
