Danyl Johnson has led the remaining X-Factor hopefuls in a revolt against Simon Cowell over their 'excessive work load'.The teacher is upset at having been asked to perform an extra song and additional dance routines as Cowell attempts to rescue this year's show from becoming too boring following the departure of Irish/alien duo John and Edward.
This is according to the ever-mysterious 'insider' who told the Mirror newspaper:
"The contestants are feeling stressed because it's the first time they've done two solo songs. They were complaining they were never going to be ready. Someone suggested talking to Simon. Danyl seemed to be the ringleader. He asked Simon for a meeting about their concerns."
Predictably, X-Factor overlord Simon did not take kindly to being questioned by one of his singers. Refusing to see Danyl in person, he spoke to him on the phone instead.
"It didn't do much good. They're still doing two songs. He wasn't that impressed to be honest. He thinks they should be grateful for the opportunity." said the 'insider', no doubt furrowing their brow in worry.
"Simon wants more razzmatazz. He doesn't want them just churning out boring ballads." they concluded.
No wonder Danyl is worried...

If they want a career in this business then they have to work hard and commit themselves seems to me that Danny boy wants an easy route or perhaps he already knows he isn't going to win.

So when they go out on tour, how many songs do they think they will have to sing in the 45 minute spot that they will be expected to do?
Not exactly Bruce Sprinstein are they.
