It seems we may not have seen the last of the glamour model and the cross-dressing cage-fighter after all. Katie Price has now revealed that splitting with Alex Reid was more painful than the breakdown of her marriage to Peter Andre, and hinted that she and Alex might get back together.

She told OK Magazine: "I was really falling for the guy, and I can't switch off feelings just like that. So I'm not ruling anything out between us."

"Strangely enough, I feel more hurt from this split right now than I did with Pete, because I had known for some time through seeing a marriage counsellor that it probably wouldn't have lasted."

The mum of three went on to confirm that the reason for the split was due to Alex selling a story about his planned marriage proposal to the papers while she was in the jungle appearing on I'm A Celebrity.

She said: "I always told Alex I didn't want another Pete and Kate relationship. I asked him, please, stay away from the media, and after the first time he gave a story, even though he was saying really lovely stuff, I told him, one more lapse and that would be it between us."

But then Katie gave a hint that she might be open to a reconciliation, saying: "I think he's been very naive, and that people are taking advantage of him. If things get sorted out, then fabulous. If not, then I'll be on my own."
