The Welsh singer has caught the eye of 007 producer Michael G Wilson, who says he would love Duffy to sing the next theme song.

He told The Sun: "I would love to get Duffy to sing the next tune. I think she is wonderful. Amy Winehouse would be good too."

The Mercy singer has signed a six-figure deal to promote the fizzy drink in a TV advertising campaign.

Duffy will replace the chiselled Diet Coke break male and stick thin female models currently advertising the drink as bosses attempt to update the brand's image.
