Now we have to confess that we can find Jordan as irritating as the next person - but despite spending more time than we would like writing about her, we're not quite at the stage where we're ready to burn a 27ft effigy of her on bonfire night.

But that's exactly what the villagers of Edenbridge in Kent will be torching in front of a crowd of 10,000 people on Saturday.

If you didn't have reason to look forward to the 2010 yet, then you do now that Jordan has revealed what her new year resolution will be.

That's right, she's claimed that she's going to STOP TALKING ABOUT PETE at the end of the year!

Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: "From the New Year, I never want to talk about him again."

Close followers of the Peter Andre/Katie Price split will remember her mum wading in to give Pete what for recently, saying he was moody, manipulative and aggressive.

Well after biting his tongue for a week or so, he's rebutted her comments and said they better describe his ex-wife.

Despite Jordan's almost daily protestations to the contrary, Peter Andre has insisted that there's nothing funny going on between him and manager Claire Powell.

And we have to say, from the strength of his protestation, we're tempted to believe him.

"It's so insane that I don't even want to respond to it," began the 36-year-old, before responding to it.

Katie Price's mum Amy has broken her silence over her daughter's divorce from Peter Andre - to criticise her former son-in-law.

The 56 year old is reported by The Mirror to have labelled Andre "manipulative and moody" and accused him of being cold towards Katie/Jordan after her miscarriage.

She was quoted as saying: "I'm so angry and somebody has to start sticking up for Kate. As much as I don't want to say anything, people have to hear the truth.

Finally, after months of acrimonious wrangling in the media - not to mention the courts - Jordan and Pete's divorce is final.

The papers came through yesterday, and Peter Andre hugged his brother Michael and manager Claire Powell when he got his hands on them.

When Jordan was going on about how her new man Alex Reid enjoyed dressing up in women's clothes we assumed it was just her usual attention-seeking jibber jabber.

But now it seems she may have been telling the truth, as she's recruited him - along with three more male chums - to get dragged up for her latest book launch.

Katie Price claims Peter Andre is trying to cut her off from their children by changing his phone numbers.

So in addition to the ongoing war-of-words between her and newly ex-hubby Peter Andre, she's also opened a second front against Dwight Yorke, the father of her son Harvey.

OK, so Dwight did sort of ask for it a bit by giving her a pasting in his new autobiog, but she's risen to the bait like the big celebrity fish that she is - and is now talking about legal action.

The new row centres on his book, Born to Score (see what he did there?), in which he criticises her parenting skills and claims that he was prevented from seeing young Harvey.

While most of us are taking sides in the Katie Price and Peter Andre split, her former lover Dwight Yorke is refusing to play favourites - and giving them both a right good slagging.

The soccer star, who fathered Jordan's son Harvey, has told how how she was "infuriating" and how he "wanted to throttle" Peter Andre when he first met him.

Yorkie explained: "I'm not a violent man and it takes an awful lot to rile me. But this man got under my skin at the outset.

"The first time I saw them together they immediately put on this ostentatious display of affection, kissing and cuddling each other and calling one another 'Babes' and 'Precious'. Somewhere between laughable and pathetic."

Katie Price was reportedly branded a "sl*g" by a group of Peter Andre fans at the weekend.

The glamour model arrived dressed in a cowboy outfit for a themed night in Manchester when she met with a group of heckling women chanting "Team Andre" - referring to her estranged singer husband - and swearing at her.

But she showed a bit of self-restraint for once, according to the Daily Star, and rather than launch into a trademark tirade she instead advised them to watch her new reality TV show instead of Peter's.

She did, however, refuse to walk the last 50 metres to the Living Room club's entrance and returned to her three-car convoy, which took her to the nightclub doorway.

Something tells us the war of words between Peter Andre and Katie Price is going to rumble on for quite some time.

In the latest from the estranged pair, Peter reveals that he never liked his wife's alter-ego Jordan and claims that his wife Katie "left the building a long time ago".

The singer told New! magazine: "I never liked Jordan and my feelings haven't changed... It's all getting a bit desperate if you ask me."

No, you're not looking at a life-size version of Barbie's horsebox, this mobile pink palace belongs to none other than Katie Price.

And keen horsewoman Katie was pictured getting behind the wheel and taking it for a test drive around the narrow country lanes close to her home.

As well as being painted lurid pink, the pimped-out horsey transporter also features Jordan's tiara insignia on the side.

Despite the excitement of having such a spectacular new vehicle, the glamour model seemed to be in a sombre mood.

We can only guess that she was either nervous about driving such a huge beast - or she was dwelling on her messy public split with estranged hubby Peter Andre.

In one of her most bizarre statements (and there have been a few), Jordan confesses she is obsessed with serial killers like Fred West.

The glamour model told Love It! magazine that she is fascinated by serial killers and is desperate to find a pen pal on death row.

She said: "I love sickos. Dennis Nilsen, Fred and Rose West, Ted Bundy - I'm obsessed.

She may only have separated from hubby Peter Andre a couple of months ago, but it seems that Katie Price has already lost her heart again.

The glamour model, turned author and businesswoman, is said to have sent lovey-dovey text messages to cage fighter and aspiring actor Alex Reid, with whom she is reported to have shared a brief relationship.

And a hurt Peter Andre is claimed to have said he wants nothing to do with his estranged wife.
